Yesterday, drawing at the table-
Anna: Excuse me, sir. Would you like to draw?
Chris: Sure! (picks up the red pencil)
Anna: Oh I'm sorry, that's my favorite pencil.
(Chris picks up the blue pencil.)
Anna: I'm sorry, that's my favorite blue pencil., you can have yellow.

Today's lunch-
Anna: What's Anna going to have for lunch?
Me: Probably peanut butter and jam.
Anna: Hmm. Howabout lobster? Can we have lobster?

  1. Yikes! I see your grocery bill going through the roof!

  2. Anonymous9:54 AM

if she ever sees a lobster she won't want it
    love aunt katie

  3. The only real lobsters she has seen are the ones in the water at the grocery store...and she doesn't know those are for eating.

Today, I told her she could have either pb&j or grilled cheese.
She asked for a camel. We simply can't afford this kid's taste.

  4. Hmm, camels hold water, so maybe she's predicting a water shortage in the near future?
Or...good luck asking the grocery store to start carrying camels. (I have eleventy billion dollars that says they'll think you want cigarettes. YUK)

  5. Anonymous3:33 PM

were did she lobsters and camels from missy

  6. That is one fun imagination.

Who really wants to color with the yellow one anyway?
